Competitors race from Heritage Park, Mullumbimby down the Brunswick River to Terrace Park in Brunswick Heads. A mix of top athletes and fun paddlers compete on stand up paddleboards, kayaks, canoes & dragon boats.
OLD ‘N GOLD FESTIVAL

A Unique Treasure Hunt through The Brunswick Heads Village trawling second hand vintage stalls, garage sales and incredible collectable and vintage fairs. Enjoy local street food and live music, this is an all weather all ages event.
BACK TO BRUNS HOT RODS
13 – 15 July 2018.
A 3-day showcase of the best hot rods, from vintage gems to muscled up models, this event allows car lovers to take in the best in show.
THE BYRON BAY WRITERS FESTIVAL

BYRON TO BRUNS BEACH RUN

The Byron2Bruns Beach Run is an annual fundraising event for the Brunswick Byron Athletics Club and the Brunswick SLSC. Get your stride going with your choice of either the 5km or 10km fun runs and help out a good cause.
BYRON BAY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The BBIFF is now the largest regional film festival celebrating its 12th year in 2018. The BBIFF features a diverse array of films and awards across multiple venues, local and international industries mix with audiences to attend previews, parties and workshops.

The Festival of Fish ‘n’ Chips kicks off with the Twilight Markets and Firework display. Before the fireworks, enjoy wandering through twinkle lights checking out the various market stalls and doing your last minute Christmas shopping under the stars.
THE McGREGRS FAMILY CARNIVAL
Runs from Mid December 2018 to late January 2019
The McGregors Family Carnival will continue to run every evening in Banner Park throughout the Fish ’n’ Chip Festival until late January (weather permitting). Try your luck at the community Housie Tent or take the kids to enjoy the lights, music and rides.
WOODCHOP CARNIVAL

Get ready for another fireworks display on Saturday, January 13th at 9pm which will be trigger the beginning of The Woodchop Carnival – program commences the following Wednesday 17 January 2018. The Brunswick Carnival is currently regarded as the biggest woodchopping event outside the Sydney and Brisbane shows so it is not to be missed.

Founded in 2010 the Byron Bay Surf festival showcases core and creative surf culture by presenting innovative and experiential ideas through unique and engaging experiences. The festival activates a range of events including surfing, shaping, art, music, film, yoga and environment with an awareness and focus on sustainability, education and innovation.

The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast is hosted on one of Australia’s favorite point breaks, Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta. Only 30 minutes from Brunswick Heads, this is an awesome event with the world’s best surfers.
